Airtronics ‘Legend' ~ Laser-cut Rib Set only

Note: This is not a complete kit. A plan is not included, and additional materials are required to complete the model.

These ribs are for the famous 1990's Airtronics Legend 113” span glider utilising the very efficient Selig 3021 airfoil section. The original kit provided an all moulded fuselage which we obviously do not include!

The box contains the following 111 laser-cut parts

• 43 Wing ribs cut in 1.5mm hand-selected balsa
• 8 Wing ribs cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply
• 6 Tail ribs cut in 3.0mm hand-selected balsa
• 54 Gussets cut in 3.0mm balsa
• Aileron/flap ribs are also cut (originals were cut from strip wood).
• Aileron/flap end caps are duplicated in 3.0mm balsa rather than 1/4”
• Ribs are cut with servo cable holes and elsewhere with small 'vent' holes to alleviate the 'ballooning' issue when film covering.
• No building plan is included - this is not a full kit.
