Framed picture
Lode Star at Speed
by Robert Nixon

The Great Western Star class was designed by the great locomotive engineer Churchward and introduced in 1907.

In total, 72 were built and they did magnificent work in traffic. The "Stars" formed the basis of designs of the still larger "Castles" and "Kings" of the GWR.

Beautiful picture framed in an A4 (30 x 21 cm, 12 x 8.3 inch) size frame.
