      Original Factory Supplied OEM 15/41t  size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and normal high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration
       **OEM Stock ratio 15/41t is the DEFAULT for this listing.**


For FREEWAY GEARING 16/41t  gear ratio (Faster top speed, lower freeway rpm's, better hwy. gas mileage)  Request a 16t front sprocket  Freeway Ratio in the "Add Message" tab during check out
(the +1t front sprocket change is versatile because you can change back to the stock ratio with 15t and same chain length) Your low end throttle will be reduced, but your top gear cruising rpm's will be lower, and top speed higher.


For  QUICK ACCELERATION 14/41t  , (Quicker off the line, Quicker throttle response, Easier Wheelies)   Request a QA 14t front sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab 
(the -1t front sprocket change is versatile because you can change back to the stock ratio with 15t and same chain length) 
 Your top end speed will be reduced, and your top gear cruising rpm's will be higher, and top speed slightly lower.

JT Steel Rear Sprocket is available in 520 x 36t, 40t, and 41 teeth only


Teeth and Sizes Explained...
 
**   A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket Q.A. change. (-1 Ft. = +3 Rr)
**   A +1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as -3t rear sprocket Fwy. change. (+1 Ft = -3 Rr)
 
**  If you gear your motorcycle for Quicker Acceleration, it will be Slower on the top end of your power band.
     If you gear your motorcycle for Top End (Faster Top Speed, lower top gear cruising rpm's) it will be slower
     off the line and less responsive in lower rpm's.

    Half the Power Loss (Compared with Normal O-Ring)  X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed.

    Normal O-Rings and other makers’ modified O-Rings have squashed points that increase friction. The twisting action of the X-Ring disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss.
