Use this tool when installing the valve springs when the cylinder head is installed on the engine. This tool allows the combustion

chamber/cylinder to be filled with compressed air, keeping the valves

closed while the valve springs are replaced. Simply place the cylinder

you are working on at the top dead center, thread the tool into the spark

plug hole, and fill the cylinder with compressed air. When replacing the spring, be sure to maintain air pressure in the cylinder.

The pneumatic valve seat is designed with 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 18mm diameter spark plug holes,

common on all LS engine platforms.

Often used when replacing valve springs or valve stem seals.

Comes with two-step fittings For 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 18mm threads.

The thread connects to the spark plug hole and the other end connects to the air source.

The other end is a 1/4" female NPT that easily connects to an air hose quick-connect fitting.

Heavy-duty 10" flexible hose provides easy access to the spark plug hole and air supply.

Air pressure helps prevent the valve from falling into the combustion chamber.

14mm is the standard spark plug size for most domestic and foreign vehicles.
