Electroplating grinding head is just is plated with a layer of diamond on the surface, once diamond abrasives on the surface finish it cannot be used.
Sintered grinding head is full of sintered diamond from inside to outside, a qualitative change. It has been grinding to only handle left. It will become smaller and smaller with its working.
