 Some information:

In development since around 1993, the new injector heads were designed to improve the mixing of fuel and oxidizer sprayed inside the combustion chambers of the modified RD-107A (14D22) and RD-108A (14D21) engines which propel the first and second stage, respectively. The older RD-107 (11D512) and RD-108 (11D511) engines used 260 two-component centrifugal injectors, while the new engines received more than 1,000 one-component injectors. They allowed finer aeration of propellant for more thorough burning of its components while also reducing the probability of high-frequency vibrations inside the combustion chambers. RD-107А (AKA 14D22) is an improved version of the 11D511 with new injector design that eliminated the high frequency combustion instabilities. Used on the Soyuz-FG RD-108А (AKA 14D21) is an improved version of the 11D511 with new injector design that eliminated the high frequency combustion instabilities.  Used on the Soyuz-FG (11А511U-FG), Soyuz-STA (372RN21A) and Soyuz-STB (372RN21B).

The injector of the RD-107 and RD-108 feature an outer welded dome-shaped bulkhead plate (on top of the oxidizer button cavity), a middle bullhead plate (which separates the fuel and oxidizer passages), and a flat inner wall made out of a more conductive material.

Many short steel tube assemblies (or bipropellant injection elements) at right angles to the injector face are brazed to the middle and inner walls.

Spiral inserts into the venter tube and tangentially drilled holes allow for tangential flows of the oxygen and the fuel inside each injection elements. The propellants then flow in spirals and are “whirled”. At the exit of each injection element the propellant flows form two conical propellant sprays.

There are 337 such tubes or injection spray points, arranged in 10 rings. The outer rings spray only fuel on the inner chamber wall (film cooling) and keep the was temperature below 380 Celsius.
