Original issue, US Army Center of Military History Publication, 114 pages, size is 6" x 9", stapled, dated August 1951.  This is not a commercial copy or print but an original issue government print issued in 1951 and republished in 1986.  This is part of the German Report Series and was written by senior German officers during the 1950's and are only from the German point of view.  All reports are in paperback only and were originally issued as a DA Pam 20-201.  This publication is titled -  CMH Pub 104-1, Military Improvisations During the Russian Campaign.  The massive effort against the Soviet Union forces the German Army and Luftwaffe into tactical and logistical improvisations that would become permanent features of the war in the East.   Illustrated with maps.
