Great collectable Floral Paperweight by Schuster Studio - dated 1999
Ron Schuster is a self-taught glass artist who has been producing beautiful glass works at Schuster Glass Studio for nearly 4 decades. Schuster initially focused primarily on stained glass before shifting his attention to art glass paperweights and vases.
The paperweights are formed of Dichroic glass which is a type of glass which contains multiple layers of metal oxides. The presence of the metal oxides causes the glass to produce an array of vibrant colors which shift depending on the viewing angle.
Schuster has found a loyal following among glass collectors as a result of his artistic talent and skill and his blown glass creations can be found in over 50 galleries around the nation.
Condition is very good, some minor shelf ware on the bottom. Not very noticeable.
