She is famous for her book Fried Green Tomatoes at Whistle Stop Cafe, which was adapted into the 1991 motion picture Fried Green Tomatoes. The newsclip on the back of the photo reads: Fannie Flagg leads the cast of Noel Coward's "Private Lives" which opens at the Windmill Dinner Theatre Wednesday. The comedy concerning divorce, discovery and reunion is directed by Stockton Briggle and will play Tuesday through Sunday until Aug 31 at 8:30P.M.
