This is part of the German Report Series and was written by senior German officers during the 1950's and are only from the German point of view. All reports are in paperback only and were originally issued as a DA Pam 20-232. This publication is titled - CMH Pub 104-13, Airborne Operations, A German Appraisal. An analysis of German airborne landings in enemy controlled territory and their subsequent commitment to conventional ground combat by a group of the senior officers involved. The study not only appraises large-scale aiborne actions, but explains why such operations were abondoned after Crete. No illustrations in this publication.
