Davis, H.L. - Honey in the Horn - Harper & Brothers: New York, 1935 - First Edition / First Printing - “First Edition” stated on the copyright page as required in order to denote the first printing of the first edition.

The book has some scattered foxing, light stains, soiling and edge wear. The boards remain presentable and straight with the lettering on the spine and front cover dark and bright. The binding is square and firm and internally there is a name neatly penned on the front end page but otherwise no markings. The dust jacket is a facsimile and has wrinkling to the rear but is otherwise very nice. A presentable copy of the author’s first novel, a tale of homesteading in Oregon at the beginning of the 20th century. Winner of the 1935 Harper Prize and the 1936 Pulitzer Prize for fiction.
