Rustins Quick Dry Textured Step and Tile Paint is a quick dry paint that contains textured agents to improve the slip resistance in wet and dry conditions on tiles, concrete and bricks. It is independently tested and rated as low slip potential according to BS7976, Part 2, 2002 assessment of slip resistance. Water based, Textured finish, Interior and exterior, Hard wearing, durable and weather resistant.

Coverage: 14m² per litre, per coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.
Usage Instructions:
Preparation: The surface must be clean, smooth, sound, dry, free from wax, dust and contaminants. Any wax polish previously applied can be removed with white spirit, steel wool and a clean rag. Existing paint, not being removed should be sanded to provide a key and cleaned with white spirit or detergent. Application: Use a good quality brush and apply evenly. Coats: 2 coats are usually sufficient. Sand lightly between coats if required. Drying Time: 30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. Do not apply outdoors if rain imminent. Re-coating Time: Allow 4 hours between coats or overnight, depending on temperature and humidity. Application Temp: Ideally 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C, or in conditions of high humidity or if rain imminent.
Maintenance: Re-apply when surface becomes worn. The surface to be coated should be cleaned with a mild detergent solution or white spirit and lightly sanded to provide a key. Compatibility: Can be applied over most paints but test for compatibility before applying. Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE. Shelf-life/Storage: Many years if stored in original, tightly closed container, in normal conditions.
Hazards: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Clean-Up: Remove excess product from brushes and then clean with water. Hard brushes can be cleaned with Rustin’s Brush Restorer.
