This tray dates from the 60's. No Couroc Tray is like another as they were each made separately using Mother-of Pearl, Abalone, and Wood from local materials in Monterey, California. This tray measures 18" x 12.5". The inlays were fashioned and moulded on to Black Satin Phenolic Resin, which makes the tray's very useful as they withstand heat and cold.
The Road Runner's feathers are inlaid wood, with decorative Gold paint accents. There are tiny gold paint dots off the tail to give the impression of movement, and the eye is painted Black, Red, and Blue.
