Item Description:
Chambly is known to combine the traditional French silversmiths
trade with some of the most innovative designs in the production of its
cutlery. Orfevrerie Chambly was created in 1894 under the name SFAM (Sté
Française d'Alliage des Métaux). Chambly is a leading French manufacturer of
silverware and it is the only French manufacturer that produces its own nickel
silver alloy for silver plating and plates the frequently used pieces with up
to 63 micron of silver.
This set comes in SFAM’s Volga goldplate pattern. The handles are
lavishly decorated and represent true beauty.
The pieces have a very nice feel to them.
