This map was liberated from a copy of 

An Atlas of Modern Geography

by Samuel Butler. 

It was published by 

Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown & Green, 

London, 1826, corrected to 1827. 

The map measures 

9 1/2" x 7 1/8" to the outer neat line.

It shows England,

along with portions of

Scotland and Ireland.

The land areas and counties

are hand-colored in the outline.

The map shows a 

horizontal fold as found.

The paper shows edge wear,

foxing, age toning, 

soiling from handling,

and separation along the fold.

Overall, we rate the condition as fair.
