Plique a Jour... even the name is pretty!  So here are TWO eggs with the same decoration, but one is done in pink glass (or stained inside that color?) and the other a clear frosted looking glass. 

Both eggs are about 2 1/3" tall.  They have 2 birds and 2 large flowers on each egg.  They have the traditional small openings on the tops and bottoms.  They are so smooth and nice to hold and look at up close. 

I couldn't find any light up bases to really show these off the way they deserve to be shown, hence the flashlights for photos... sorry.

You're paying for the pink egg in this auction and getting the clear frosted free.  I'm just not sure the clear egg has a slight crack inside toward the bottom, or if it's just how it reflects.  There's a lot going on inside these little eggs with all the little metal fishscale shapes and design elements. 

Eggs don't come with bases.
