Archaeopteryx lives in teh late Jurassic period at south of Germany when Europe is still close to the Equatorial islands. Archaeopteryx has a characteristics of bird and dinosaur. Its feathers are similar to modern birds with gliding or flying ability. Archaeopteryx was often used as a classic fossil representative of bird evolution theory.
