Lot (118) antique vintage Czech Bohemian mixed red and blue diamond molded and faceted rosarian pin shank glass button elements.
Rosarians: a term adopted from the word rosary for glass buttons with hole through the centre like a bead. the shanks were usually made of a heavy flattened brass wire, which was run through the hole, both ends being fastened to the knob on top. Most were finished with a loose metal ring around the shank. (Luscomb: Encyclopedia of Buttons)
