Brunetti XL - 120w head with EL34 (16/8/4 ohm)

Selling as I’m switching to a combo amp.

3 channels, clean, crunch and lead. It can be controlled via midi pedalboard (no foot-switch needed, I don’t have it). This is quite good as you can have all midi controlled, including the channels switches. Crunch and lead share the eq but with different gains and bright controls. Great sound for rock and metal, however the crunch gives you a lot of possibilities in creating your tone. Clean at gain 10 is spectacular, very dynamic sound as well as the other channels ad great low ends (clear and defined). It sounds great with Jensen speakers as well as G12M.

It has a nice 1U rack space for a multiefx or a rack tuner, very handy to have all in one setup on a head.

This is one of the first boutique models made by Brunetti in Italy in early 90s. It has some minor scratches but nothing that relevant as you can se from the pictures. Please ask for more info if needed.

The circuit has been reviewed by Marco Brunetti in person at his factory years ago and the head is 100% fully functional. All tubes have been changed about 4 yrs ago (-ish) and bias is set as well. I did not use the head that much, therefore it might need to be bias checked only, tubes are in perfect conditions.

There is no crackling sounds when moving knobs, however it might happen and it needs a couple of rounds to disappear. Anyway, all knobs are fully functional, it is always good to move them even if it’s off to avoid cracklings.

The impedance switch looks damaged but it is not, you can turn it with a key that fits in. It can be replaced with another plastic cover eventually. However it works perfectly as far as you change the impedance.

It has been used live in the past and now it’s like few years I used that in my home studio only.
