Polished, hand engraved and brand new 18k pink rose gold plating

Rose or pink gold is 75% pure yellow gold mixed with 25% copper to create an alloy which has a pink tint which reflects the copper in the alloy but has the advantage of not suffering from verdigris (like the statue of liberty which is made of copper)

Rolex watches call this everose gold and they are 18k

Please note that gold plating is a softer metal than chromium so care needs to be taken with polishing as not to rub with a dry cloth. I know customers use pledge or mr sheen with careful buffing. Alternatively a body shop can clear coat these with etching lacquer but this makes replating more difficult in the future if should be required.

This is traditional hand carving with a variety of graver chisels and not etching / grinding with a dremel or laser machine ‘engraving’ etching nonsense!!!
