This is a single (1) new skein of multicolored wool blend yarn - approximately 400 meters.  Photos with 2 skeins are shown only to show color variation.  This listing is for a single skein.  Fiber content is 60% wool/40% man-made (assuming acrylic).  Manufacturer lists weight as 0-2, but I would call it a 2 (sport weight).  Manufacturer recommends a 2.0mm hook, but I have used this yarn with a 3.5mm crochet hook with excellent results.  I tested a sample project by washing on delicate in the washer and air drying.  I saw no noticeable color fade or degradation.  I did notice that there are slight size variations throughout the skein, but it did not affect the overall quality of my test projects.
