This is a wonderful high quality serigraph giclée canvas print of a mixed media picture entitled "PARIS RENDEZ-VOUS TRAIN" by renowned romantic artist Ken Shotwell circa 2003. The picture shows what may be a pre-WWII romantic Paris evening with a steam engine locomotive train arriving or leaving on one side of the long tracks while café patrons, bathed in soft lighting, are waited upon by servers on the other side of the tracks. The tracks are glistening as though a light rain has just fallen. The sky has a captivating lavender sunset hue.
There are 30 prints available as of the original posting of this item. They are numbered 86/250 through 95/250, then 225/250 through 244/250. They will be sold in ascending order starting with #86/250.
Each print comes from the Artist's Impressions Proof original set of 250. Artist's Impressions Proof sets are not offered to the general public for sale. They belong to the artist to do with as he or she pleases. Each print is numbered in the lower left corner in gold and signed "Shotwell" in the lower right corner in gold (please see photos for examples). The artist's impressions prints were acquired by us at an estate auction in southern California in 2012. They are unused, new prints.
The prints are in excellent condition and will be carefully packaged and tube-shipped. Nice gifts.
