This is an OUTSTANDING GORGEOUS , very lustrous and glittery  crystalized petrified wood  specimen ( Paraphyllanthoxylon alabamense) from Brilliant, Alabama ( Coker Formation)  The age of the specimen is approximately 70 million years old ( Cretaceous Period). Unlike most petrified wood , quartz crystals are part of the replacement. 

All faces have some crystallization and coverage. 

This specimen is MUCH MORE GLITTERY in real life !!!
