Up for your consideration is a very well executed oil painting on canvas. This painting of a bearded elderly man is signed L. Townscend. There is a listed artist/illustrator named Lee Townsend. My research didn’t lead me to any conclusion.

The painting is in very good condition with no paint loss or noticeable wear. The frame is also in good condition with very minor wear.

The framed work is 24.5” x 20.5”....painting alone is 20” x 16”.
