The book has a nudged tip, light rubbing, and some very small areas of gilt loss. Overall the boards are still very clean and attractive. The binding is square and firm and internally there are no bookplates, writing, or other blemishes. This copy is in full leather which is stamped on the covers and spine in gilt. The spine features four raised bands. The pages edges are all gilt. The end pages are moire and there is a sewn in silk page marker. A solid and attractive example which has wonderful shelf presence.
