The book has shelf wear, a crease to the spine, light tanning and a name penned on the front end page. The boards remain clean and mostly straight, binding is square, and internally there is no other writing to make note of. The price clipped dust jacket is lightly tanned, has minor edge wear, and some palimpsests on the rear. All in all a clean and nice example of the true first edition of this work which preceded the American edition.
