RARE 1937 GE Radio Transmitter Engineering Division, Regulated Power Supply with Laboratory low Serial# TV38.
This is a very rare Power Supply from inside one of the GE Manufacturing Plants. It has a Manufacturer's Plate from
GE Radio Transmitter Engineering Division. Then instead of just saying serial number, it has Laboratory Serial No. TV38. The serial number is very low because they only used these in their own GE Laboratories.
Here is what I believe it is, because they wrote TELEVISION on the cover and have the letters TV in the serial number. It is a power supply that they used in their Radio Transmitter Engineering Division to test the first Televisions that were being invented in the late 1930's. This is a one of a kind, power supply that features a big part of our Television history or at least General Electric history as it came from inside one of GE's Manufacturing Plants. This belongs in a Museum.
