Laser PEA 1030. I bought several years ago, after buying a CD Pioneer PD 9700, as a backup. Back then, these lasers were still available. I hardly used my CD player and the laser was not opened.
I bought it at an electronic wholesaler and it has not been opened so far. Now, for sale, I opened it to take pictures.
I looked at other PEA 1030 and please note - the lasers already mounted in the cd have a crushed - broken tape in the shape of a triangle, in the place marked with a circle in photo 3. Used, they also have a removed jumper marked in a smaller circle - this is a tin jumper, to be removed with a soldering iron so you can also redo it. However, it will be crumpled - broken tape.
I am now seeing other listings for these lasers that are described as new, unused, and have bent ribbons or removed jumpers...
I am sure that the laser was not used, because I bought it personally in a warehouse, not from a random person and in times when they were normally available in thousands - so it is not cheated, only from normal production - I recommend it.
