An elegant Art Nouveau inspired moriage gravy boat with a delicate Japanese pattern of flying cranes. White porcelain with pink, gold, and black hand-painted details. European shape, similar to Limoges pieces in the 1890s-1910s. Impressed with the stamp for A.A. Vantines. Most likely made for Vantines in Japan in the 1900s or 1910s.

An unusual, detailed piece!

Boat measures 7” W x 4” H x 3-1/4” D. Dish measures 8-7/8” W x 1-1/4” H x 6-1/2” D.

In good condition. One flake type chip on the spout and one chip on the edge of the plate, both a little less then 1/4” in diameter. Some wear on the gold on the handle. Otherwise not much wear. See images for details.
