Mulk Raj Anand (1905-2004) was a pioneer of Indo-Anglian fiction, recognized for his depictions of the lives of the poorer casted in Indian society. He was one of the first India-based writers to gain an international readership. Firm binding; rubbed corners and edges; light wear to boards, with areas of old staining to the paper covering (which does not bleed to interior); interior is clean and free of markings.
