This publication is intended for the general orientation of US Armed Forces personnel on the history, organization, doctrine, training, weapons and uniforms of the Soviet armed forces.  Section on uniforms and awards and decorations along with some maps are in color.  Very well illustrated using photographs and a few line drawings.
