Very old ornate Floral Embossed Brass Covered Candy Dish with Divided Clear Glass Insert.  As found, unpolished.

The removable insert has two yin yang shaped compartments and a radiating textured pattern.  Noted a crack on one edge and ripply orange peel texture also along the inner edge.  See close ups for better description.

The brass bowl has numerous scuffs and scratches, small spots of interior oxidation and a shallow dent as shown. 

The brass lid has an embossed or raised ornate flower design with much scuffing, heaviest around the handle and one small dent at the edge.

No other defects, damage or wear found.

Approximately 7.25" in outer diameter (insert 6.25").  Height about 3".  Weight 1 lb. 14 oz.
