Mid-Century Modern sleek Sheaffer gold tone swivel Pen Holder on a heavy slab of beveled black glass.  This is the base and holder only, NO COMPLETE PEN, just the outer part or casing of a pen, but it should hold most any pen under 3/8" in diameter. 

There is a small gold metallic 1" by 3" flat plate attached to the glass, perhaps to be engraved. 

The glass measures approximately 7.5" by 4" by 3/4" thick.  It weighs 2 lb. 3 oz.  Found TWO CORNER CHIPS as shown in the last two pictures.  Green felt lines the underside with original but water-damaged label.

The original box is worn and torn, no other issues noted.
