This is a rare Steiff Margaret Strong Cinnamon Bear Boxed, #0156/32 from a Limited Edition of only 2,000 sets. This is the Mama Bear from a boxed Collectors Edition set of four bears. It is 12.5"/31.5 cm standing and 9.5"/24cm sitting. It has the white round tag on its chest which which reads, STEIFF Original Teddybär, Collectors' Ed. Set 1984. It also has its brass ear button with Steiff written on it in its ear. The brass button is holding a white tag with black writing which has the following STEIFF KNOPF IM OHR 0156/32 and on the other side, MATERIAL PASS MASS 73 Covering 50% wool 50% cotton Made in Western-Germany.
This precious five-way jointed cinnamon mohair teddy bear has black glass eyes, and a stitched nose, mouth and felt paws with stitched claws. Its paw pads are a smooth tan leather or leatherette. This bear has a growler, but it does not work.
