We specialize in crafting pentatonic and diatonic instruments, combining our expertise in music and pedagogy to create high-quality, well-balanced lyres. Our designs are modern and inspired by Waldorf art while highlighting the natural tone of the wood.

This 7-string maple lyre features a pentatonic tuning: d', e', g', a', b', d", e". You can adjust the tuning within certain limits to suit your preferences.

Each of our lyres is made from a single piece of resonant, defect-free wood for structural integrity.

This particular instrument is crafted from maple wood, which is known for its bright, clear tones and strong projection. Maple is an ideal choice for instruments requiring excellent tonal balance and clarity across the entire range.

The lyre is carefully polished to showcase the natural colors of the wood and finished with a few coats of Shellac for added protection.

As with all our instruments, the wood grain and color will vary, making each lyre unique.

We use only high-quality components, including German-made tuning pegs, tuning keys, and strings.
