Simple Edwardian / Victorian look. Good solid feel traditional character castings.
Backplates are screwed in separately to centre around spindle.
Supplied with universal 8mm (5/16") square turned and threaded spindle locked with slotted grub screws in collars. Length: 120mm. (4 3/4")
Fits door thickness from 45mm. (1 3/4") to 76mm. (3")
4 screw holes in backplates for firm fixing. Knob collar fits snugly in backplate raised mount.
Foundry cast and crafted in England.
New old stock.
Note: these are lost wax castings and the two halves of the knobs are solder jointed half-way with natural solder line showing and occasional pitting.
Note: there is no return spring on this model. Please be sure that the lock mechanism contains a sprung return in order that the knobs reposition themselves.
As manufactured in good unused working condition. Polished unlacquered. Good antique character. These are character castings with natural imperfections.
