High positioning accuracy

When the load is driven by linear motion guides, the frictional contact between the load and the bedside table is rolling contact. The friction coefficient is only 1/50 of the traditional contact, and the difference between the dynamic and static friction coefficient is small. Therefore, there is no slippage when the load moves.

Long life and high motion accuracy

For conventional sliders, the accuracy error is caused by the reverse flow of the oil film. Insufficient lubrication can lead to wear between the contacting surfaces, which becomes increasingly inaccurate. In contrast, the rolling contact is almost wear-free; therefore, the machine can achieve a long life through high-precision movement.

High-speed movement with low driving force

Due to the low frictional resistance of linear guides, only a small driving force is required to move the load. This results in greater power savings, especially in the moving parts of the system. This is especially true for reciprocating parts.
