New in 2023: Variant of the BR 181.2 in the DB AG version in Epoch VI. The PIKO model of this important multi-system locomotive series shows all the relevant details of its model and impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, specially attached front handles and door handle bars, sharply engraved bogie covers, fine insulators and delicate current collectors. The lighting takes place using LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting, which is installed as standard, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder, as can the taillights, which function depending on the direction of travel. A powerful five-pole motor with flywheels that drives all four axles ensures excellent driving characteristics. The PIKO model has two traction tires and a heavy die-cast zinc frame for high pulling forces. The PIKO 181.2 is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker.
