Due to new U.S. import and customs requirements effective January 1st, 2026, it is no longer possible to ship merchandise from France to the United States using standard letter mail rates (envelope shipping).
All items classified as ?goods/merchandise? must now be shipped as a parcel with a full customs declaration, and non-compliant shipments may be delayed, returned, or subject to penalties.
At the moment, the only shipping option that fully meets these new U.S. regulations from France is Colissimo International (parcel shipping).
This is why shipping costs may appear high compared to the price of a small item.
? Good news: if you purchase multiple items, only one parcel shipping fee will be charged, and everything will be shipped together in the same package whenever possible.
Please note that this cost is charged by the postal service and customs process ? it is not a profit or handling fee.
