This listing is for the beautiful 1994 Salvino Ken Griffey Jr. personally approved and autographed prototype Seattle Mariners home uniform cold cast porcelain figurine that is numbered 6 out of only 15 (or 16) total signed figures produced. The reason we mention 15 or 16 total made, is that the base has "15" hand-written on the foil sticker, while the letter has 16 spelled out within the letter itself. Whether there are 15 or 16, this is still an incredibly rare signed prototype of Junior and would be a beautiful addition to any collection, and it is fully licensed by both MLB and the MLBPA. The cold cast method allows the figure to be created to display exquisite detail. This features a bold signature as the figurine has never been displayed. The figure is from our old store stock which we purchased directly from Salvino. This approximately 30 year old figure is brand new and complete with no cracks. The original box shows some wear from storage over the years. This comes with the pictured letter of authenticity for the rare signed prototype, signed by Salvino co-owner, Rick Salvino. Additionally, we have had this authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with full Letter of Authenticity #AC01516, which may be verified on the Beckett website.
