Hupac AG is a Swiss group of companies that focuses on intermodal transport in Europe. It operates so-called combined or intermodal transport both accompanied (entire articulated lorry) and unaccompanied (only semi-trailers or sea containers without a towing vehicle). But this doesn't just include traffic across the Alps. The company also operates in major economic areas as far as Russia and the Far East. The name was derived from Huckepack, the no longer used name for combined freight transport. The headquarters are in the border town of Chiasso in the canton of Ticino. HUPAC was founded in 1967.
