Age 63 yrs. 3 mos. 6 days.

Mary Ann Stoner was born 16 September 1854 in Pennsylvania, daughter of Samuel Huber Stoner (1827 - 1903) and Magdalena Horst Nolt (1834 - 1868). About 1877, she married Peter Brubaker Hess, born 24 February 1854 in Warwick, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, son of John Huber Hess (1828 - 1913) and Elizabeth Brubacher (1831 - 1865). Mary Ann passed away 22 December 1917, and Peter followed 1 June 1940. They rest together in Hess Mennonite Cemetery, Lititz, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania.

Sarah and Abraham's children include: Samuel Stoner Hess (1881 - 1882), Rev. John Stoner Hess (1884 - 1968), Jacob Stoner Hess (1890 - 1933)

The cabinet card measures 4.25 x 6.5 inches and is in excellent, almost pristine condition for its age, but as to be expected with a cabinet card over 100 years old, it isn't perfect.
