1920s Hair On Hide Vest Grizzly Western Cowboy with Mittens RARE Spokane Fur.

Here’s a rare one. Spokane Fur & Tanning Co. vest with mittens. According to research, the company started in the 1920s and these certainly look from that era. Hair on hide vest is in good condition with only one small bald spot as shown. The fur is stable with no signs of rot or instability. The lining does have edge wear tears as shown, but it is also stable and not falling apart. Loop closures with one button replaced, all others original. Four lined, functional pockets. The mittens are lined and also in very good shape for the age aside from soiling/fading of the palms which are quite thick and may be horsehide since it is a longer wearing leather. Vest measures 18” from armpit to pit and is 24” from collar to hem. The mittens fit me well and I wear a large in a men’s glove.
