ZOOSTORM FREEDOM 10-270 NETBOOK – WINDOWS 7

I have restored this machine from scrap. I have replaced the screen and a few internal cables along with the hard drive and ram. The internals have been cleaned of dust.

The battery needs to be removed for the netbook to start. There is no charger or wi-fi card included, these are cheap to buy on Ebay.

The CMOS battery is flat, the time and date need to be reset on first boot.

Once booted, the brightness settings can be adjusted using the FN and F11/F12 keys.

This unit has an Intel Atom N270 CPU @ 1.6GHZ, 1GB of PC2 5300S DDR2 Ram, a 160GB SATA2 Hard Disk, 3 USB Ports, there is no DVD-RW Drive, VGA Port, LAN Port, and a Microphone and Speaker Socket. The graphics are provided by Intel 945 Express Graphics resulting in a resolution of 1024x600. Sound is provided by a Realtek High Quality device. 

Windows 7 Starter with Service Pack 1 is a brand new installation and the essential drivers have also been installed and updated if required. The COA is on the unit with the license number which is unreadable. Cosmetically there are numerous scratches to the body work as a whole and the screen hinges are missing. The wi-fi cover is missing.
