  • The Monarch E150 Egg washer is designed for cleaning soiled eggs in poultry and game farming operations. The E150 washer consists of a gently oscillating, motorised base which constantly moves the thermostatically controlled warm water. If you’re looking for an automatic egg washer, then this might be the option for you.
  • How it Works – Simply fill the supplied bucket with water and turn on the heating element, which will quickly reach the preset temperature as controlled by the in-built thermostat. Once the water in the bucket has reached the preset temperature, pour in a measure of liquid egg-wash detergent, which will mix to create an efficient and hygienic egg cleaning solution. Collect your eggs and place them in the supplied white rubberized basket, then lower that basket into the solution. Once the base unit is switched on, the gentle movement of water will quickly clean the egg shells, giving them a crisp and hygienic appearance. One complete wash can take up to 7 minutes maximum, it depends on how dirty the eggs are.
  • Egg Capacity – Approx. 150 Chicken Eggs (200 pheasant, 500 quail, 100 duck). The Monarch E150 Egg Washer is suitable for cleaning a wide variety of egg sizes.
  • Digital Thermostat – Adjustable set and display digital thermostat which maintains the water at the temperature set (usually 34C when washing eggs).
  • Monarch Egg Basket – One Monarch Egg basket is supplied per machine and is used for collecting and containing the eggs during washing. It is a very rigid basket made from 5mm mild steel with a stainless steel handle and its white coating is highly resistant to staining and yellowing, as well as resistant to most chemicals including egg wash powder/liquid. Complete EU and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) food contact approval and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant.
  • External Tap – The Monarch E150 Egg Washer has an extremely handy external tap for the removal of water.
  • Protects Against Bacteria – Both dirty and visually clean eggs can have many thousands of bacteria present on the shell surface, such as salmonella, coliforms, proteus, pseudomonas, bacillus cereus, putrefactive anaerobes and coccal forms. They could represent a threat to health if they remain on eggs sold for human consumption and similarly with hatching eggs they can present a hazard to the health and viability of the chick. The Monarch E150 Egg Washer greatly reduces the chance of disease as well as providing visually clean eggs.
