Curt Otto Teich, born in Germany, immigrated to Chicago at the turn of the century. As a printer and publisher he established the Curt-Teich Co, soon becoming the world's largest publisher of postcards. He is best known for producing mid-century "Greetings From" postcards with big letters, vivid colors, and bold style.
