Schrader / tire valve to push-fit T-piece kit designed for Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with Airmatic / self-levelling air suspension using 4mm OD air line.
- Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220 2000-2006.
- Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221 2007-2013.
- Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 2014-2020.
For models equipped specifically with Airmatic / self-levelling air suspension and 4mm OD air line only.
Please check your vehicle's suspension type and measure the existing air line outside diameter before ordering.
Even with a completely non-functional compressor, the kit can be connected to the air suspension lines
and inflated through a standard Schrader / tire valve using a suitable portable or workshop air compressor.
The push-fit T-piece allows two air suspension lines on the same axle to be connected and inflated together.
One kit is designed to supply one axle.
If both the front and rear axles require manual inflation, two kits will be required.
This kit can be used as a temporary:
- Air suspension compressor bypass.
- Manual air suspension refill connection.
- Emergency Schrader valve connection.
- Self-levelling suspension emergency inflation system.
- Airmatic diagnostic / temporary repair aid.
The Schrader / tire valve allows an external air source to be connected directly to the suspension circuit.
The T-piece design allows both air suspension lines on one axle to be supplied from the same external air source.
Kit includes:
1 × Schrader / tire valve.
1 × 4mm push-fit T-piece 4mm OD air line assembly.
One kit is sufficient for one axle.
Air-line cutter, external air compressor, and other tools are not included.
1. Identify the correct air lines.
Locate the appropriate air suspension supply lines for the axle you intend to inflate.
Depending on the vehicle, suitable connection points may be located near the compressor, valve block, or suspension air lines.
Confirm that the air line is 4mm outside diameter before cutting or disconnecting any line.
2. Cut the air lines squarely.
Use a proper air-line cutter or sharp utility knife to make a clean, straight 90-degree cut.
Both air lines being connected to the T-piece must be cut cleanly.
Do not crush, deform, or kink the air line, as this may restrict airflow or prevent the push-fit connector from sealing correctly.
A clean square cut is essential for a reliable connection.
3. Connect the air lines to the T-piece.
Push each 4mm air line fully into the push-fit connectors on the T-piece.
Make sure each line is inserted completely into the fitting.
After installation, gently pull on each line to confirm that it is securely locked into the connector.
4. Manually inflate the suspension.
Connect a suitable external air compressor, portable tire inflator, or workshop air supply to the Schrader valve.
Inflate the suspension slowly and gradually while monitoring the vehicle ride height and system pressure.
Do not exceed the vehicle manufacturer's specified air suspension pressure.
Avoid excessive inflation or raising the vehicle beyond its normal operating ride height.
5. Install the Schrader valve cap.
Once the desired ride height has been achieved, disconnect the external air source and securely install the Schrader valve cap.
Check the connections for any signs of air leakage.
This kit is intended as a temporary or emergency solution and does not repair the underlying cause of an air suspension fault.
A failed compressor, leaking air spring, damaged air line, faulty valve block, pressure sensor, height sensor,
or other suspension component should be properly diagnosed and repaired.
If only one corner of the vehicle is sagging, the issue may be caused by a leaking air strut, air spring, air line, valve block,
or another suspension component rather than the compressor.
Do not overinflate the air suspension. Do not exceed the vehicle manufacturer's specified air suspension pressure.
Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's repair and safety procedures.
Common applications may include selected Mercedes-Benz S-Class Airmatic and self-levelling suspension systems.
Vehicles may use different air line sizes depending on model, year, suspension type, and location within the air suspension system.
Please check and measure your existing air line before ordering.
Air suspension hose, air spring, valve block, or compressor failure can leave a vehicle unable to maintain normal ride height.
