The cards are numbered #1 - #72 & measure 2.5" X 3.5" (like a baseball card) each. This is a full & complete set. The card fronts each depict specific versions of Santa Claus as seen through the eyes of different Countries & different generations. The card backs feature puzzle pieces that go together making a large Christmas related image.

This is a great fun set & will undoubtedly teach you a thing or two about the evolution of Santa Claus.

From the traditional look of Santa as a 1953 American image to that of a 1910 version from Scandinavia, there are many different looks & aspects to the same St. Nick! Almost always seen cloaked in a long white beard Santa is seen in this set not only in that famous Red & White outfit, but sometimes in a blue one (Grandfather Frost from Russia) or in all white (1910 Europe) or even in green!! (1900 Europe).

The artwork ranges from cartoon-style drawings to realistic paintings by some very talented artists.
