30mm deep carbon tubular disc brake wheels designed specifically for cyclocross. Used to win one of the 2022 CX Masters World Championships. Tubs are the choice of most riders at the sharp end of regional, national and international CX racing because of their ability to find grip on the track and resistance to pinch punctures. No burping either at low pressures.

Rims are manfactured for us by Carbonal from 100% carbon fibre. Made from high spec Mitsubishi Toray T700 carbon fibre all the way through. The core is 3k carbon weave and there is a thin outer layer of UD carbon to give a smooth finish. The rims have a stronger carbon layup specifically for CX use to resist the inevitable rim impacts when using very low pressures.

The rims have a 30mm deep aero section which is 25mm wide at the gluing surface and 28mm wide at the mid-point. 

The extra width adds wheel stiffness and gives a bigger tub contact area for better gluing and the tub is supported better when used at lower pressures.

Suitable for all tubular CX tyres (or road tubulars from 23mm - 28mm width). 

The rims are supplied plain matt black, without any decals, to allow riders to add their sponsors/own graphics if desired. 

These wheels have a 24/24 spoke build. Suggested weight limit is 90-95kg 

The spokes are super high quality Belgian made Sapim CX Ray bladed spokes in black fastened by silver Sapim 14mm alloy nipples. CX Ray spokes are among the lightest spokes available but have great strength and aero properties. Unfortunately they are also rather expensive! 

Cheaper wheelsets built in the Far East generally use much cheaper and less efficient spokes.

The wheels are built using a 2x on both wheels for strength under braking and reliable power transmission.

Total wheelset weight is around 1340g with centrelock thru axle hubs

All our wheels are handbuilt to the same high standards. The wheels are trued to within +or- 0.2mm and spokes uniformly tensioned to within 5% a side.
