you are buying a 5th generation IPod  Classic in a nice shape I tested this item and it sounds great, I got this with a some other apple items, I did not own this myself, it is used but there is not any major problem or scratches on the case, there is a clear case for it it is in ok shape but you can get a case of your choice very cheap. Just think about how much time and money you must spend to get 5271 songs, it has many artists and albums and soundtracks, any kind of music you can think of so please do not let it get away from you, you will never find one with this many songs and albums on it, I charged the battery about 10 days ago and is holding up charge, but I am not sure what the condition of the battery is, please ask all questions before buying.
